As a documentary wedding photographer I get to work with a variety of wedding suppliers at a host of venues, and on this blog I want to share some of those with you. This post is another in a series of vendor spotlights. Last time I looked at Rosey Nuguent’s fantastic wedding cake supplied for David and Louisa’s wedding. In this post I want to take a brief look at the hair and make up services provided to Louisa by Katherine Jennings.
Katherine is a BBC trained hair and makeup artist serving Bristol, Bath and Wiltshire. As well as providing a mobile service to brides and their parties Katherine has also worked on various feature films including ‘X-Men 4’, ‘World War Z (WWZ)’, ‘The Duchess’, and ‘The Da Vinci Code’ as well as the recent TV production of “Poldark” and “The Crimson Field”, “Casualty” and “Merlin” and other TV period dramas like “Upstairs Downstairs” and“Larkrise to Candleford”.
Louisa first had a trial run with Katherine and then on the day of the wedding Katherine and her assistant came to the George Inn in Norton St Philips to help Louisa and her flower girls with their preparations.
I think you would have to agree the results of Katherine’s work on the day are stunning.
